I jumped on the Tumblr bandwagon and finally bought myself a winged backpack which I'd been wanting to buy for a while. This review is for a replica of the Lostmannequin Sid backpack which are getting pretty popular lately. I haven't seen any reviews for the replica versions, so I thought I'd share my views for anyone who is considering buying a replica. Warning, this is image heavy!

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter Mini Review: 047 Pink Lemonade
This is just a quick review or perhaps a first impression, of the Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter in the new shade Pink Lemonade. First off, the packaging is gorgeous (part of the reason I bought it) and looks really pretty on display. The bullet holding the lip butter is also nice but is a little deceiving, as probably less than half of the bullet actually holds any product.
The application is smooth and glides on the lips quite well, thanks to the light and creamy formula. I do find this lip butter to be moisturizing on my lips and comfortable to wear, as opposed to some lipsticks and lip glosses that can be quite thick.
Pink Lemonade is exactly what is says. A pale pink with a warm hue, which is slightly peachy. The colour pay off is initially not that great, but it is very easy to build up a fuller colour. I find this to be flattering on
my skin tone, which is very pale. So I would advise anyone with medium skin tones to give this shade a miss, or perhaps swatch it instore before purchasing.
Personally, this shade is a really great everyday natural colour for anyone with fair skin. I like to apply this lightly to give my lips a hint of colour without looking too overdone. It does need reapplying throughout the day but this is what I would expect from a lip butter.
Overall, this is a really nice product if you are looking for a light, hydrating lip product. I'm looking forward to trying more shades in the future with stronger pigmentation such as Lollipop and Raspberry Pie.

Primark A/W 2013 Collection: My Picks
It's now September, and autumn is well on its way to the UK which I am really pleased about. Autumn is my favourite season alongside winter for fashion. Primark's new AW collection is slowly starting to arrive in stores so I thought I'd share my favourites of the collection that has been unveiled so far!
The limited edition bags that have been released are stunning, especially this black, red and white one with gold studs. I definitely prefer the statement bags as opposed to the statement jewellery that Primark have released. It looks like the sports luxe trend is here to stay this season and will join regular autumn and winter trends leather, plaid, tartan and leopard print.
The new shoe collection looks stunning, and the buckled boots have really caught my eye. Another favourite is the introduction of crombie coats for the season. The pale pink coat looks gorgeous, and will brighten up any outfit. It would look lovely in the winter and will work well as a transition piece into spring, considering how cold and dull British weather is all year round!
What are your favourite picks from the collection? Have Primark captured any of your favourite trends for this season? Comment below!
Gem xoxo
